The Digital Economy is changing the way we work and live. Increasingly, people can work, play, communicate and manage many aspects of their lives from anywhere, and at any time. In this talk I will present some of my work investigating the paradox of the new digital age: why do we still struggle to get things done despite being constantly connected to pervasive and ubiquitous computing technologies that promised to make us more productive? I’ll present work related to three themes: 1) the struggle to get work done in the digital age; 2) the struggle of being “always-on”; and 3) evidence based strategies for people who are struggling with digital wellbeing.Prof. Anna Cox (UCL Interaction Centre) will give a lecture which is very interesting for AI students!
