Gray of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, titled 'Cognitive modeling of expertise using a big data set of Tetris players: surmounting performance plateaus by tasks, by tools, by techniques'.Wayne D. Gray
Prof. Wayne D. Gray is a professor of Cognitive Science at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Prof Gray’s research focuses on detailed studies of longitudinal changes in individual human performance -- especially performance in dynamic, real-time tasks -- tasks in which even hesitating requires a decision to hesitate. Using a combination of experimentation and computational cognitive modeling he studies interactive task performance and extreme expertise, including performance by top players in games such as Tetris.
